Mapping & Managing Ash Dieback Across the County
Dryad Tree Specialists is proud to be working with Herefordshire Council on a large-scale project to record and assess the county’s ash tree population, estimated to be at least 30,000 trees. With ash dieback continuing to impact trees across the UK, this project is a crucial step in managing the growing problem and ensuring public safety.
Our team is responsible for recording the locations and condition of ash trees throughout the county. Each tree is assessed and categorised based on the level of infection, which informs the remedial plan needed to mitigate risks and manage tree health.
We have deployed three specialist surveyors to conduct detailed assessments, ensuring that every affected tree is logged with precision. Our team is enjoying the challenge of this large-scale project and the opportunity to work closely with the council to protect Herefordshire’s landscapes.
This survey plays a crucial role in tackling ash dieback across Herefordshire. By identifying at-risk trees and implementing a structured management plan, we are helping to protect public safety, infrastructure, and the natural landscape.
If your council or organisation requires professional tree surveying, Dryad Tree Specialists has the expertise to deliver accurate, high-quality assessments.
